In the Netherlands, Mars is spread across two locations:
Our factory in Veghel (Mars Nederland B.V.) is based in the southern part of the Netherlands and is the world’s biggest chocolate factory. In addition to producing products for the Dutch market, the factory in Veghel also services many other Mars-factories (with semi-finished products such as chocolate and peanuts) and markets across Europe and beyond. This site also houses our Dutch snackfood & petcare sales division.
Our food factory in Oud-Beijerland (Mars Food Europe C.V.), just south of Rotterdam, is the largest of its kind in the Mars Europe family. Our Oud-Beijerland plant produces oriental and mediterranean meal sauces for our top-of-the-line brands. The products are exported to over 25 countries, though the majority are intended for the UK market.
